Zovi Opaque Body's first release, Native Copper, was one of my favorite albums from last year. Now, his sophomore release is out and it is a great followup. Four tracks with lots of space to breathe that together create a meditative journey through pensive rhythms and mysterious soundscapes. Totally get lost in this. Favorite track: Psoas.

Gaberaham Lincoln Sun Permeant is some really gripping atmospheric electronica that ensnares with a variety of strange, visceral textures. Bonus: the production is top-notch! Each sound feels palpable, even through the laptop speakers I'm using to review it right now. Album closer "Form-Surrogate" is my favorite track, with the sparsity of sounds really making each one hit hard. Amazing stuff. Favorite track: Form-Surrogate.
